Matt Smith on the trail ready for a day on the water — join us as a volunteer
Early morning. Net on back. Ready to go.
Volunteer

Show up. That’s the job.

Our clinics and outings run on volunteers. You don’t need to be an expert angler — you need to be a reliable adult who enjoys being outside and genuinely likes kids (or genuinely likes other men who need a day off from adulting).

Volunteer roles include clinic instruction assistants, gear setup and transport, water safety, registration and check-in, and photography. We train everyone. We provide all gear. We just need your time.

Most volunteers end up coming back. The river tends to do that to people.

Common Volunteer Roles

  • ✓ Clinic Instruction Assistant (no prior experience required)
  • ✓ Gear Transport & Setup
  • ✓ Youth Mentorship (1:1 pairing with youth participants)
  • ✓ Event Photography
  • ✓ Outreach & Community Liaison

Corporate & Private Groups

Your best team-building day.
Also your best donation.

A corporate group booking through TAHF gives your team an extraordinary day on Utah’s best water — and directly funds free programming for youth who can’t afford it.

We handle all logistics: gear, guides, location, permitting, and catering coordination if requested. You just show up and be present — which is the whole point.

Groups larger than 12 are split into multiple outings so every participant gets genuine guide attention and quality water. We don’t do bus tours. Every outing is intentional.

"The river levels the org chart. By lunchtime, your CFO and your newest hire are talking like old friends."
